Guided by instinct more than plan, each work is a leap into the unknown. Accidents aren’t mistakes; they’re plot twists. Paint drips where it wants, scissors bite in strange places, colours riot together — and that’s where the real energy bleeds through.

Instead of prowling the savannah with a spear, Train hunts on eBay, scooping up discarded toys, busted tech, and oddities that no sensible person would dare send through the post. The moment the loot lands, the studio becomes a battleground — materials are hurled, layered, hacked, and mashed into forms that are at once playful, grotesque, and electric.

Every piece is a dare: love it or hate it, but don’t stand still in front of it.

Guy Train’s art is a full-throttle collision of colour, texture, and unapologetic chaos. Working somewhere between a prehistoric cave painter and a malfunctioning cyborg caught in a feedback loop of chaos, Train’s pieces are physical jolts — splattered, gouged, cut, and smashed into being.
